Home staging is the process of preparing a home for the market in such a way that it appeals to the widest possible audience. This is accomplished by minimizing the negatives and accentuating the positives. Home staging transitions a dwelling from a home to a house to a product.

• color coordinating rooms
• rearranging furniture, rugs and accessories
• eliminating offensive odors

Isn’t that decorating?

No. Home Staging is not a part of the decorating industry; however, Stage, Show & Sell does offer decorating services. Decorating is “customizing” the home by bringing things into it to personalize it for living. Staging is “neutralizing” the property by removing things from the home to prepare it for selling. Decorating is for living; Staging is for selling.


Do you also stage vacant homes?

Yes. In fact, the majority of our business comes from staging vacant properties. We furnish and accessorize empty spaces in order to create a warm and “homey” environment for the buyer. No one will buy a home until he can mentally move in. Furnishing vacant spaces greatly aids in the process.


Our Services:

2 Hour Staging Consultation - $125.00

With this service, one of our associates will walk through your home, room to room, advising you as to what needs to be done to prepare it for the market. Many times, initial hands-on staging takes place during this appointment.

Half-Day Home Staging Makeover - $300.00

Whole-Day Home Staging Makeover - $500.00

These makeovers include the following:
• Decluttering
• Reorganizing
• Depersonalizing
• Deodorizing (if necessary)
• Repositioning furniture
• Affixing yard signage

Vacant Property Bids – NO CHARGE

One of our associates will meet the homeowner or agent at the vacant property to discuss which rooms need to be staged and take measurements. We will then prepare a written bid and email it to the customer.


Additional Services:

Executive Move-in - $75/hour for the first 4 hours; $60/hour thereafter
